Since our founding in 2001, The Esplanade Association (TEA) has worked tirelessly to restore and enhance the Esplanade and to elevate it to its intended and deserved status as one of the world’s most spectacular urban parks. In collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), among other groups, TEA strives to improve both the park’s uniquely beautiful landscape and the experience of its millions of annual visitors. Through projects, park programs, and advocacy efforts, TEA has had a tremendous effect on the park. However, there is still much to be done.
TEA works in partnership with the DCR on all park improvement projects and partners and collaborates with key stakeholders
