It takes a lot to keep the park running. If you are interested in gardening, data entry, painting, special events, pruning, carpentry, arts and crafts, or a host of other things, please explore the information below to find out how you can volunteer with The Esplanade Association (TEA).

Current Opportunities
Internship Opportunities
TEA is currently seeking responsible interns for following open positions. These are unpaid internships, but a weekly stipend would be granted. Start/end dates and weekly schedules are flexible, but some positions require the individual to be at the park for certain programs and events. Please follow the links below to learn more.
We are looking for people interested in helping with mailings, data entry, research, and other administrative tasks. We also have an urgent need for a computer technician who can service our network, printers, and external drives.
Volunteering at the Park
TEA relies heavily on the work of volunteers to sustain the park as a beautiful, healthy, safe, and active space. Volunteers participate in a host of park beautification and maintenance projects that include leaf raking, litter pick-up, invasive species removal, light pruning, and bench and fence painting.
TEA welcomes both individuals and large volunteer groups throughout the year. In addition, we host five major volunteer clean-up days a year. For more information, to set up a group volunteer day, or to volunteer as an individual, please contact Jessica Pederson, Project Manager, at 617.227.0365 or at jpederson@esplanadeassociation.org.We look forward to seeing you at the park!
