With your help we can improve the park!

We feel strongly that the park belongs to everyone and that TEA has a critical role to play in making sure that all people can enjoy and use the park.

To date, we have built play grounds, added new, state of the art ball fields, new docks, re-opened and refurbished bathrooms, restored benches, refurbished an exercise area, added solar trash compactors, and new water fountains, and improved the health of landscape. We organize over 2,000 volunteers each year to maintain and clean the park, offer free park programs and advocate for improved park care.

But there’s still a lot to do because, with 3 million visitors each year, this park takes a beating. As the only non-profit group focused solely on the Esplanade, TEA is working with the DCR to create a healthier park and a richer experience for a more diverse group of park users. With your help and continued support, we can achieve our goals.
