Park Amenities

Thirteen solar trash cans have been installed throughout the park for park users to deposit litter.

Installation of new water fountains are nearing completion.

Project Background

TEA worked with the DCR to improve water supply and delivery on the Esplanade and raised funds to replace existing water fountains.

The new fountains are functional, attractive, durable, and low-maintenance. They are appropriate to the park setting and design era of the 1920's. The new fountains are handicap accesible and child friendly. Two fountains include a spigot and a pet bowl.
