Join us for the Annual Charles River Cleanup!
Registration is now open for the annual Charles River Cleanup on Saturday, April 30th from 9am – 12 noon. In a collaboration led by Charles River Watershed Association, the Charles River Cleanup invites volunteers to work together to remove litter and debris, and beautify the Charles River and its surrounding parklands in one of the nation’s largest one-day river cleanup events! Last year over 4,000 volunteers removed an estimated 5 tons of trash from sites throughout the Charles River watershed from Milford to Boston.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us with registration and direction of volunteers on the day of the cleanup. Volunteers will be asked to attend one short orientation session prior to the event. In addition to having the opportunity to participate in one of the nation’s largest clean-ups, volunteers will receive an authentic special Charles River Cleanup T-shirt and be invited to attend the post-event picnic on the Hatch Shell oval. For more information email Kyle Richard at email@example.com.
